I had a great time at the fletcher hotel during my two-night stay in leeuwarden. The breakfast spread was delicious and set a lovely tone for our days.

The hotel features a rich history as a former royal residence, offering a unique ambiance that I adored. The spacious rooms allowed for a feeling of luxury, especially the one overlooking the historic town square with its vibrant atmosphere. I enjoyed the breakfast, served in a beautifully decorated room, where the self-service buffet provided a good selection to start my day.

Cleanliness could greatly improve!!! Worn furnishings and outdated decor distract from potential charm. Parking situation could be much more convenient for guests!!! Shower facilities could use a serious upgrade too!!!

stayed here expecting royal treatment but the bathroom was cold, and the carpet woudl ve been less disturbing if it matched decor. the hotel’s extravagant history was wasted on lack of ambiance, it all felt cheap. and can we talk about the ridiculously nonexistent wifi service? almost left a great review, but I just couldn’t.

The palace vibe was a hit with my kids. We explored the lovely yard, and the hearty breakfast spread featuring Dutch pastries made mornings delightful. With three little ones, the grand space and proximity to local attractions were a big plus for us.

For dads, it would be great to have a kid-friendly play area.

Our group faced a bit of annoyance when the bathroom light sensor kept switching off unexpectedly while in use.

The stay was special thanks to the stunning garden and the charming architectural details that really added to the experience. I loved relaxing in the lovely garden while sipping coffee and reading my book, such a peaceful vibe! The only thing was that the Wi-Fi could be spotty at times, but it didn’t put a damper on my trip. 😊

This place suits me perfectly, offering amenities like 24-hour reception, free Wi-Fi, and a cozy lounge area. The staff once helped me return documents I accidentally left, making my stay memorable. I highly recommend the delicious breakfast! I'm coming back for a city trip.

The room I had was cozy and nice the heating worked brilliantly even if it was a bit old-fashioned. The comfortable seating area in the lobby was great for a quiet evening with a book away from the rain outside.

It wasn’t exactly a bargain but still acceptable for a decent place.
